Ever wanted to get to know your neighborhood better? I mean really really well? I did... so I typed my zip code into a form over at ZIPskinny, and got an eye full.

How does your ZIP measure up?

Well, let's see ...

My city has 1.9% unemployment compared to 12.9% in SLC.

My city has a 4.7% poverty indicator compared to 33.8% in SLC.

In my city, 91.9% graduated from high school and 43.6% graduated from college, compared to 64.7% and 14.4% in SLC.

My city has a population density of 1274.56 compared to 1731.51 in SLC.

Oh, and my city has a medium income that is 3 times higher than SLC; although, the cost of living in SLC is 21.2% higher than my city (according to www.bestplaces.net).

So, help me understand, why do people want to live in SLC?

Okay... first, what's your city and your zip code?

Second, are you comparing my zip code to your city or my zip code to your zip code?

We'll go from there.

Oh... and within a range of densities that are considered moderate, higher is better, not worse.
