"Imagine you met a real life genie that offered you three wishes. Assuming those wishes would come true what would you wish for? (You must also assume 1) the real consequences to your wishes and 2) your wishes can’t interfere with other people’s agency and 3) they fall within the laws of science and 4) you can’t change the past)"
So without further ado, I give you my three wishes:
- That I could be a better brother/uncle/son.
- That my hopes for gays in the Church would be realized.
- That my business ventures pay off.

hmm, thats a tuffy, but I'll give it a whirl...
1. that i would finish writing my book.
2. the book would be highly successful.
3. Create a successful developmental NGO
Developmental NGO — like Grameen Bank?
yup, but with a more hands on approach. meaning that I am there and will help with the projects they want to do.
actually, i think i should rethink that as i'm not very handy with tools. :)
I think your NGO would probably be much more effective were you to go the Grameen route... you can only be in one place at a time, but your money can travel the world.
If that's something you're interested in, please let me know... at one time, I worked closely with a gentleman at BYU who has since gone on to great success in that arena, and if I can track him down, I'd be pleased to make the introductions.
