A Brush with Fame

So I had a wonderful afternoon... lots of work got done, and I ran into Ethan of SLCspin fame.

We hadn't met before, but I heard his blog mentioned in passing, and inquired further...

"Did someone mention SLCspin?"

"Yeah... do you blog?"

"Yes, I do... I'm Silus Grok."

"You write The Crow's Nest?!"

* stunned silence *

"Yeah!"

I don't remember the rest — except that he found me through Forma Line — I was just so happy to meet someone who reads my blog... you know, besides one of my stake presidents.

: )

( So good to meet you, Ethan... we'll have to sit down and chat some time! )

The pleasure was all mine.

And considering how close we work to each other, we'll have to do lunch — maybe at Big City Soup — sometime.

The Atlantic is WONDERFUL!

A Slovenian friend of mine introduced me to it. Very very tasty.

I read your blog as well.

The crazy thing, Danithew, is that I figure that lots and lots of people read it because of the random comment or two I'll get from folks... but figuring is different than staring a reader in the eye.

What I need to do is get some log analytics program that will help me visualize my readership... and then I'd need a couple of extra hours a day to just stare at the pretty graphs — because you know how obcessed I'd get.

Reading your blog is a pleasure. Because you use a psuedonym, I feel really cool when I read your blog because I know who you really are.
