Late last night... sometime around midnight, I was out on my 4th-story balcony chatting with a neighbor when a shooting star cascaded through the night... lasting a few seconds (an eternity for these ephemeral beauties), I watched as it burst: 1, 2, 3 times.
Absolutely amazing.
I hope you saw it, too.
