Another Football/Soccer Post

Watch the adorable soccer kid commercial above... then, when you're in the mood to buy some sporting equipment, buy it from Fairtrade Sports. Leave the irony of buying children's toys made by slave children in the past.

Silus,

Thanks for the brilliant post. What a terrific pairing of that video to Fair Trade Sports.

Given that I've got a new baby girl due in mid-May, your post is particularly meaningful. I can't wait to get my son up tomorrow AM, read him your post, and have him watch the video.

Hey Scott!

Thanks for stopping-in.

: )

If I might make one request of Fair Trade Sports, it would be that you offered scrimage jersies. I have an order for 10 in at Amazon ($5 a piece), and I'd rather be giving that money to you.

( If you're wondering what I'm talking about, just search for "scrimmage jersey" at Amazon. )

Silus --

If you want to make a bigger
difference than just a post,
looks like the fair trade
federation could use a new site.

:)

We all have to contribute in our
own way, right? ...I point it out,
you do all of the hard work.

Good golly, you're not kidding... the Fair Trade Federation _could_ use a new site.
